At St Mary's we have a passion for teaching to include technology. This enables our teachers to deliver lessons in a fun, interactive and stimulating way. We teach computing in both a discreet and cross- curricula approach, empowering our children to appreciate the positive impact technology can have to give them greater control of their education.

Our computing curriculum follows the scheme 'Teach Computing'.

Lessons are taught using a computing scheme that implements a progression of skills and knowledge through four specific areas-

• Computing Systems and networks
• Creating Media
• Programming
• Data and Information

We also include Online Safety lessons to support pupil safeguarding.
